Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy, or talk-therapy, is what most people imagine when hearing the term therapy. Built upon trust and compassion, the relationship between therapist and client encourages the expression of innermost thoughts and feelings. Client’s are able to gain insight and awareness, allowing them to discover solutions to the issue(s) that is getting in the way of living a joyful life.

People come to therapy for many reasons, including difficulty coping with daily life in both work and relationships, the loss of a loved one, and symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression. Research demonstrates that nearly 75% of people who enter psychotherapy, experience relief of symptoms and are better able to function in their lives.

I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can be your honest self, presenting who you truly are when at home alone with your thoughts. So many of us feel the pressure to be perfect and uphold a public persona that is incongruent with our true self. This stress is unsustainable and most often results in anxiety and depression.
